Be loving, compassionate and kind and the rewards are immeasurable. The key to being a happy, positive person is relatively simple: vigorously embrace compassion. So how does one cultivate compassion? Is being compassionate something we can just do?
The answer of course, is yes. We can be compassionate and kind any time we choose. Sadly, as much as we recognize that compassion is one of the most valuable of virtues, it seems to be in short supply lately. Sure, we often talk about it, but far too often, that is as far as it goes — we want to be kind and good, but we struggle to live out that kindness in our actions. So how does one suddenly become kind? Well, we simply just do it — we let go of anger, fear bitterness and hatred and we take that beautiful leap of faith, vowing to be a kind, compassionate person in our words and actions.
We’ve found some wonderful quotes on love and compassion and hopefully, one or all of them will inspire you to live a life centered around love and goodness.
