Life can be so beautiful, can’t it? I think sometimes we miss out on the beautiful parts of life, because we don’t live in the moment — we’re not mindful about the now, because we’re so focused on the previous and next.
Mindfulness has become a very important part of positivity. The act of living in the moment or, the “now,” means being conscious of when we’re letting our mind ruminate on the past or dwell on the future. In other words, we have to be mindful not to be so consumed with what has already taken place or, with what has yet to take place, because then we miss out on the wonderful things that are available to us in our present.
Of course, there is more to mindfulness than that, but that for me sums it up nicely. The same can be said for relationships. How many times have you become so obsessed with a particular friendship or romantic relationship that when it ends, you become immobilized with rumination over that relationship?
This sage wisdom about life and relationships is a great reminder that though one door may close, another one will open. It’s also a reminder that it really is up to us to bring about our own happiness — that a feeling of peace and contentment comes not from others, but from within ourselves.
In life, you will fall out with people that you never thought you would. Get betrayed by people you trusted with your heart. And get used by people you would do anything for.
But life also has a beautiful side to it.
You will get loved by someone you never thought you would have. Form new friendships with people that will establish more meaningful and stronger relationships. And overcome things you never thought you would get over.
We all have chapters that end with people at some point in life. But take pride in knowing that the very best part of your book is still being written.

Life does indeed have a beautiful side to it and if we’re mindful and embracing every positive and happy moment, we will form new friendships, we will overcome, we will have new chapters and we can and should, write our own story…and make it a very happy one!
