Thanksgiving isn’t over — its only just begun. Yes, the official day we call “Thanksgiving” has passed, but the idea of being thankful, is something we should observe every day.
Being grateful is a hallmark of positivity. When you’re at peace with yourself and comfortable with who you are, being thankful is a natural end result and that in itself, is a major factor in being happy and positive.
Norman Vincent Peale once said: “A basic law: the more you practice the art of thankfulness, the more you have to be thankful for.” And you know what? He was absolutely correct! If we think gratitude and we count our blessings and realize just how fortunate we are, then you we start to see so many things as good and worthy. When we consciously acknowledge the positive, it starts to take root and grow and before we know it, we’re happy, content, positive and…thankful.
These quotes on gratitude are a wonderful reminder that being thankful is something we all need to practice every single day. I hope they inspire you to start counting your blessings and looking for all the good things in life that we should always be thankful for”

A great way to start being more thankful each day, is to have a gratitude journal. Whether that journal starts out as just a slip of paper or an actual journal book, the important thing is to write down all that you have to be thankful for. Every time you think of something else that you should be thankful for, jot it down in your journal. After a while, you won’t even need the journal, because you’ll be consciously acknowledging it throughout the day.
