Instigators are some of the most evil and manipulative people on earth. These are the people who, with no reason at all, stir up trouble and fan the flames of chaos. They are to be avoided at all times.
We all know instigators and maybe on some level, at some point, we’ve all been instigators. But to do it once in a while is to be expected…but to do it on a regular basis and with no remorse, is reprehensible.
Who Shook The Jar?
If you put 100 black ants and 100 red ants and put them in a glass jar, nothing will happen.
But if you take the jar and shake it violently and leave it on the table, the ants will start killing each other.
The red ants will believe the black ants are their enemy and the black ants will perceive the red ants to be their enemy – but the real enemy is the person who vigorously shook the jar.
The same is true in society: Men vs Women. Black vs White. Faith vs Science. Young vs Old. Republican vs. Democrat, etc.
Before we fight each other, maybe we should first ask ourselves these questions. 1). Why do I believe what I believe? 2). Is what I believe really true? 3). And are my beliefs really my own or someone else’s? 4). Who is that shook the jar…and why?

If someone shakes your jar, count to ten and ask who and why they did so? If we feel like shaking someone’s jar, we should count to ten and then to ten again and ask why we want to shake their jar. We’re all entitled to peace and happiness — lets help each other make that a reality.
“A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech, winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger, with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord; therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.
There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” – Proverbs 6:12-19
“As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him…” -Titus 3:10
