Wouldn’t life be wonderful if we could just say “abracadabra” and fix everything in our world? If only it were that easy. Positivity doesn’t work that way either — to be more positive, we have to work at it.
Not everyone is a believer in the power of positive affirmations, but I happen to be someone who believes that while they may not be a magic solution, they are actually quite effective. If we want to be more positive, we need to condition our mind to focus on the good things and to actively choose happiness. Life can be challenging, so a positive affirmation is a good way to snap us back into a positivity frame of mind.
Daily positive affirmations tend to work best if we say them early in the morning and if we use them throughout the day. But, its more than just saying the words, because we have to also actually believe them. Try these seven positive affirmations and see how they work for you. Some people prefer to write their own and I for one encourage that, since those we create ourselves tend to work best.
“I matter and I am worthy.”
“I choose faith and hope to fill my mind, body and spirit.”
“Every day is a fresh start and today, I choose peace, love and positivity.”
“Happiness is a choice and today and every day, I choose to be happy.”
“I banish all negativity and in it’s place, I radiate hope and love.”
“My life is full and I am content and fulfilled.”
“I am the author of my life story and I have the strength to succeed.”
Hopefully one or all of these affirmations can benefits you. Being positive does take some effort, but it is well worth it, as we shake off the negative and embrace the positive!
