Another new year is dawning upon us and with it comes fresh and exciting opportunities — chances to realize our hopes and dreams abound and its up to us to make the most of this opportunity.
Where does the time go? Time seems to be flying by, but this is yet another chance for us to get things right. Many people will make a resolution to stop swearing. Some will resolve to give up ice cream. Some people will even resolve to being a “better person” in 2026 and its these folks who are really onto something.
No matter what our resolutions or goals are for the coming year, the chief pledge we make should be a resolution to always lead with love and kindness. A resolution to be good and honorable and to embrace the values of compassion, generosity, peace, tolerance and friendship.
Giving up chocolate or ice cream is a nice resolution, but our times call for bold and noble resolutions. The new year is the time to declare our commitment to being more positive — to choosing happiness so that we will thrive and not just get by.
Let us all resolve to greet the new year with hope, optimism and promise and pledge to live life to the fullest and to make the most out of every moment. Today, lets all promise to treat others with kindness and friendship and let’s all strive to treat others the way we want to be treated. Let 2026 be the year we reject negativity, cruelty, selfishness and anger and in their place, put love. Happy New Year!
