I happen to find positive affirmations to be very helpful and reassuring. But did you know that many positive affirmations are also rooted in the Christian faith and are especially inspiring?
As someone who values positive affirmations, I wanted to share powerful Christian-based affirmations that are easy to remember and perfect to recite in times of stress. Use these christian-centric positive affirmations to affirm God’s word and abiding love in your life:

- I place my life completely in God’s hands.
- Jesus is my Savior and my best friend.
- God is my salvation and my life is secure in His hands.
- If I open my heart and mind, I will hear God’s wisdom.
- God loves me and I am never alone in this world.
- The sea may be rough, but God protects me.
- God has good and loving plans for me and I will prosper and have hope for the future.
- My heart is not troubled or afraid because Almighty God has given me peace.
- I surrender to God’s will and power and know that He will always protect me.
- When I feel anxious, my refuge is in the Lord Jesus Christ where He will keep me safe and protected.
- I have the peace of Christ to guide and protect me at all times.
- I am one of God’s children and I know that my Heavenly Father loves me.
- I seek forgiveness through Jesus Christ and He cleanses my soul.
- This world cannot harm me because I dwell in peace and love with God Almighty.
- God makes me strong and secure and He loves me mightily.
- I am never alone. God is with me always.
And one directly from the Bible is Timothy 1:7, which should give us all peace of mind and heart…
- “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
The wonderful thing about positive affirmations is that we can create our own — using the Bible as your guide and following the main teachings of love, faith, compassion, generosity, forgiveness and gratitude, come up with Christian positive affirmations of your own. A few helpful ways to remember to use and benefit from them are:
- Write down your favorite christian affirmations in a daily journal
- Repeat and believe in your Christian positive affirmations every day
- Remember that while positive affirmations are helpful, its God’s love that is beyond measure and value
