We are living in what some might call surreal times. In fact, I’m one of those people who say that, because it seems so obvious. As usual, one party in particular has yet again, decided to claim the moral high ground.
The teachings of Jesus are the most valuable lessons for all mankind. His love for us and His miraculous lessons are beautiful and what He teaches, is meant to keep us on the right path. They are truly wonderful and a must read.
Given the current political climate, there is once again an uptick in moral finger pointing. I’ll be blunt on this one — its one side of the aisle doing all the pointing and its extremely hypocritical.
How do we become better people? What do we do to help us grow and improve in our lives? The answer is not so simple, but for Christians, the answer always starts with faith.
“Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others.” This is a line from a very important Bible passage — one which guides us with very powerful and vital insight that keeps us on the right path in this life.
The Christian faith is centered on love, kindness and generosity — generosity in every sense of the word, including attitude and behavior. When one reads the Bible, you quickly see the light and hope.
One of the most inspiring truths of the Christian faith, is that we’re encouraged to grow and evolve into better people. And fortunately, the Bible is filled with truly inspirational passages that encourage us and help us on that journey.
A certain segment of our population, who shall remain nameless, have been hurling the term “liberal” around as if it were a bad thing or a deep insult. Do they fully understand what the term “liberal” actually means?
Kindness is not really an act, as much as it is a personal trait. You’re either kind all the time, or your kind only when it suits you. Hopefully, more and more of us are choosing to be kind all of the time, because we should never wait to be kind.
