Too often, we spend so much time and energy trying to “find” happiness that we end up feeling frustrated and defeated, because ultimately, happiness isn’t something that we find. In truth, what we need to be truly happy, is actually right in front of us.
One of the wonderful things about striving to be a positive person, is learning new habits and a fresh way of thinking. One of those habits, is to replace negative words and thoughts, with positive ones.
Given the current political climate, there is once again an uptick in moral finger pointing. I’ll be blunt on this one — its one side of the aisle doing all the pointing and its extremely hypocritical.
There are times when it seems like Americans have become irreparably divided. Times when it feels like all we do is disagree and argue. Times when it seems like there is no hope for healing. But, it only seems that way.
How do we become better people? What do we do to help us grow and improve in our lives? The answer is not so simple, but for Christians, the answer always starts with faith.
