Too often, we spend so much time and energy trying to “find” happiness that we end up feeling frustrated and defeated, because ultimately, happiness isn’t something that we find. In truth, what we need to be truly happy, is actually right in front of us.
One of the wonderful things about striving to be a positive person, is learning new habits and a fresh way of thinking. One of those habits, is to replace negative words and thoughts, with positive ones.
The power of positive thinking really is incredible. By no means is it magic, nor does it make everything perfect, but it truly is a very powerful force. And, its a force we can all tap into.
As the new year is still fresh, many people will begin to fulfill their new year resolutions with gusto. One resolution everyone should make, is to resolve to be positive and happy.

I’m a big believer in the inspirational power of “quotes of the day” — pearls of wisdom that one reads each morning and indeed, throughout the day, to help keep us focused and motivated.
Each day, we awake with the choice to be happy or not. As a new day dawns, we have a fresh start to try and focus on hope and positivity, and that includes taking care of or our own psyche.
Chatting with a friend the other day, and we landed on the topic of the first step to becoming a more positive person. We debated if there were many steps to this transformation, or perhaps just one.
