Tell Yourself These Things Daily day we have the opportunity to wake up and start fresh – to begin a new day and to commit to making it a good one. One vitally important thing we should do, is tell ourselves how much we matter.

Too often we make sure to tell others about how important they are and we focus on their needs, while ignoring our own – we need to do both. How can we support or help other people, if we forget to tend to our own positivity needs?

Positive affirmations are a very potent means to help build self-esteem and improve our mood. The right words, when repeated often enough and truly believed, can do wonders for our mind-set. That’s why each and every day, its so important that we take time to gather our thoughts and pat ourselves on the back, so to speak. We should begin our day in prayer or with positive affirmations that uplift us and inspire us to go out into the world and be the best possible version of ourselves.

These positive affirmations can help to remind us that we need to take care of ourselves too. They help to reaffirm that we matter and that we are all important. Choose the ones you like or create your own — the key is to make sure to tell yourself daily, that you are beyond value.

I matter.
I am an important person who is loved and respected.

I am good enough.
No one is perfect and we all make mistakes and I know that I am worthy and good enough.

I will keep trying.
I may not always get it right, but I just have to keep trying my best.

I will stay positive.
I will focus on the positives in my life and I will be grateful for all that I have.

I will become better.
Not better than anyone else, but better than the person I was yesterday. I will grow and evolve into the person I want to be.

I choose happiness.
Each day, I consciously choose to be a happy, content person. I will live the life I imagine for myself.

I choose peace and kindness.
Love matters. People matter. I choose to be good, kind and will let peace envelop me.

Each day, we all need to remember and reaffirm that we matter, we’re important and we’re needed — always.
