Being weary and worn down is a pretty common complaint these days. Whereas technology was supposed to make things easier, it seems to have done just the opposite. Though perhaps its partly our own fault?
We’ve come to recognize red flags in people in order to protect ourselves from their toxicity. But what about what are known as green flags in people? Do we still have the ability to see the kindness and good in people?

A good friend recently lamented that we have become a celebrity obsessed culture that elevates people to a faux sainthood, often less for the good they do and more because of the bad things they do. And he really does have a good point.
Life can be a great adventure filled with marvels and wondrous experiences. That life however, is one that requires active participation – life is what we make of it after all, so why not make it the best it can be?
Surrendering our will doesn’t always come easy to man. We struggle with just saying “I don’t know” and letting someone else guide and direct us. But sometimes, that is exactly what we need to do.
At some point, most of us pause to self-reflect on where we are on this journey called life. We ask ourselves if we’re happy, if we’re successful, if we are a good person…or a bad one, and if we even matter in this world.
