I once had a Teacher who was one of those rare, open-minded thinkers who didn’t feel threatened by encouraging free-thought. She showed us how to think, but never what to think.
Ever hear the expression “one bad apple ruins the bunch?” Of course you have, because people have been using that adage for centuries. But what exactly is a bad apple and does it really ruin the whole bunch?
Have you ever thought about why young children seem so happy and carefree? Children tend to be fanciful and they have big, wide open minds that suck in everything around them — it’s wonderful.
I’ve known quite a few “loners” in my time and I’ve always marveled at their fiercely independent spirit. In fact, I’ve found that most of my loner friends, are actually quite content in life and they seem to be very fulfilled and well-rounded.
Toxic feelings like hatred, bitterness or anger are among the most deadly “substances” known to man. Anyone who has held onto these feelings, has most assuredly lived a sad and unhappy life. Luckily, we can break the chains of bitterness at any time.
I wonder if complaining and being offended has become our resting attitude? What I mean by that is, are we now so conditioned to immediately reject and complain, that we’re in effect, creating our own unhappiness?
It’s so heartwarming to brighten someone’s day and give them a reason to smile. It’s gratifying to know we’ve made someone feel better, even if only for a brief moment — its a powerful circle of positivity.

Anyone can be a positive thinker. There is no requirement to be of a certain religious faith and in fact, one can be a passionate positive thinker and not have any religious beliefs at all. But what about Christians?
