The Christian faith and positive thinking truly go hand-in-hand. Christians are meant to be happy, confident, unafraid and filled with hope and possibility. The key for Christians is to remember this and to feel positive every day.
“I can’t change the world by myself.” Have you ever heard someone say that? It’s not true at all — there are countless examples of individuals who literally transformed the world. And, each of us can do much more than we think.
Even the most ardent positive thinkers need a morale boost once in a while and one tried-and-true way to get this boost, is through positive affirmations. Our mind is powerful and if we feed it with good things, we get positivity.
I once heard a Teacher tell a vulnerable classmate “you’ll never amount to anything….” at the time, I didn’t like what she had said, but I didn’t give it much thought. When I think back to that cruel declaration, I realize that this teacher was a strangler.
I’ve had days when I haven’t felt quite good enough — not smart enough, not qualified or capable enough — basically, that I just wasn’t enough of the really good things. On those days, reality and perception can be very blurry.
Love is so incredibly powerful and healing — and miraculously, its free to all and in infinite supply. We write about love a great deal on this blog and for good reason — love is the foundation for almost all wonderful things.
Positivity is so much more than just thinking good thoughts or looking for the bright side. An important aspect of positivity isn’t just being positive — it’s also realizing how valuable and important each of us truly are.
