There are times when it seems like Americans have become irreparably divided. Times when it feels like all we do is disagree and argue. Times when it seems like there is no hope for healing. But, it only seems that way.
How do we become better people? What do we do to help us grow and improve in our lives? The answer is not so simple, but for Christians, the answer always starts with faith.
“Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others.” This is a line from a very important Bible passage — one which guides us with very powerful and vital insight that keeps us on the right path in this life.
A certain segment of our population, who shall remain nameless, have been hurling the term “liberal” around as if it were a bad thing or a deep insult. Do they fully understand what the term “liberal” actually means?
There is some debate as to what it means when Jesus tells us He did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. There is also discussion as to what “law” this refers to. This discussion, is vitally important in the Christian faith, because it relates directly to the way we practice that faith.

Why is it that the very people who preach and do the opposite of God’s will, tell us that they are the “true” and “good” Christians? Do you get the feeling that these individuals are delusional?
Doesn’t it seem as if arguments and general acrimonious discourse are the order of the day? Someone, some where, always seems to be angry and ready to do battle over anything and everything. Its very unhealthy.
Like a growing number of Christians, I’m worried that bad actors with nefarious and personal agendas, are twisting the Christian faith into something dark and foreboding — into something fraudulent.
