You’ve probably heard the expression, “he’d argue with the Saints that one!” What that means is that there are people who no matter what, love to argue about anything and everything and they never lack for a quick come-back.
I wonder if complaining and being offended has become our resting attitude? What I mean by that is, are we now so conditioned to immediately reject and complain, that we’re in effect, creating our own unhappiness?
Decluttering — we’ve all done it and we always promise to do it again. “Stuff” and “things” pile up fast and after a while, we become a slave to our clutter. Its still a new year and there’s no time like the present to toss it!

Many wise and learned people have said that we are what we think about most. In essence, what we believe ourselves to be and what we think about most of the time, becomes our reality — we therefore, shape our own lives.
Life is unpredictable and feeling anxious, sad, frustrated and even angry, are just normal reactions to our hectic life. Ever notice though, that some people seem almost immune to these feelings? How do they do it…what’s their secret?

I’m not what one would call a huggy or touchy-feely type of person. I tend to hug for only a brief moment and then that’s about it. To make up for that lack of hug power, I use my smile instead, which I always hope conveys my sincerity.
Andy Rooney, one of the iconic team members of the 60 Minutes news program, shared a lot of his insight, humor and wisdom over the years. In fact, his segment became one of the most popular, and for very good reason.
