You’ve probably heard the expression, “he’d argue with the Saints that one!” What that means is that there are people who no matter what, love to argue about anything and everything and they never lack for a quick come-back.

Conflict is something that exists not just in human nature, but in nature itself. Animals have conflict with each other, but it’s humans who have taken conflict to a whole new level of darkness and depravity.
We’ve posted a number of articles recently about the rise in dishonesty — half-truths, conspiracy theories and intentionally spread disinformation. We’ve covered this, because we can’t ever claim to be good or positive people if we purposely spread lies. Dishonesty, is a decidedly negative, dark trait.
The issue of the acrimonious political divide in our country is obvious to everyone. People are increasingly concerned about the battle of right vs. left and talking about the effects the political dysfunction is having on our mental health. Ironically, healing our country is relatively simple, but are people willing to try?
Why are people so angry? Is it the pandemic? Politics? The News? Perhaps, it’s all of these reasons and more. These days, people are losing their cool and simmering in anger and the people they’re hurting most, is themselves. Anger is, without a doubt, a spirit crusher.
Scroll. Like. Emoticon. Tweet. Post. These words have seemingly consumed our daily lives. Are the days of living life in the real, physical world gone, only to be replaced by the internet? Have we become so consumed with posting and tweeting that we now see every moment as something to post into cyberspace?
You’ve probably heard a lot of people lately in person, on social media and in the news, who have a very high opinion of themselves. These are the folks who boast that they’re moral, upstanding, good citizens who love and serve God. But do they?
The news should come with a warning label: “Watch this program at your own risk.” Its a very sad commentary on today’s news media that we have to question whether what we’re watching/reading has been manufactured.
