There are a great deal of concerning words and attitudes lately about the tenets of the Christian faith. Alarmingly, there are a lot of people who are twisting and manipulating the faith to mold to their personal earthly views.
Its begun. Or has it ever stopped? I’m of course talking about the seemingly unending political posts on social media. For some reason, certain people just can’t help but drag politics into everything.
These days, wondering what is “wrong with people” is a pretty common ponderance. Every day it seems as if someone is perplexed by the words and actions of our fellow man and truth be told, I am one of those people. What indeed is wrong with people?

Conflict is something that exists not just in human nature, but in nature itself. Animals have conflict with each other, but it’s humans who have taken conflict to a whole new level of darkness and depravity.
The morally self-righteous are usually not moral at all. Sure, they do a lot of judging and condemning, and they can be quite preachy and they certainly can quote the Bible. But, maybe that’s about all they can do?
People are increasingly concerned with the growing level of anger and discourse in our country. Angry, violent words and seething hostility seem to be the new normal. But does it only seem that way, or is it really happening?
We can’t just call the Uvalde School massacre a “tragedy. The word tragedy isn’t strong enough — it just isn’t. What happened in Uvalde is horrific…an unimaginable monstrous event of sheer terror. The devastation that happened on that day, has forever changed the lives of those touched by the sickening event.
