Many wise and learned people have said that we are what we think about most. In essence, what we believe ourselves to be and what we think about most of the time, becomes our reality — we therefore, shape our own lives.

Conflict is something that exists not just in human nature, but in nature itself. Animals have conflict with each other, but it’s humans who have taken conflict to a whole new level of darkness and depravity.
The morally self-righteous are usually not moral at all. Sure, they do a lot of judging and condemning, and they can be quite preachy and they certainly can quote the Bible. But, maybe that’s about all they can do?
One of the greatest challenges to being a positive person, is being around toxic people. We all know them…we’ve all had to deal with them and the important thing to remember is, we can’t let other people bring us down.
Peace – a word used throughout the ages by people from all walks of life, seeking a peaceful life. And who doesn’t want peace? After all, peace should be the goal of every person on this planet. But what does that mean exactly?
I’ve had days when I haven’t felt quite good enough — not smart enough, not qualified or capable enough — basically, that I just wasn’t enough of the really good things. On those days, reality and perception can be very blurry.
The issue of the acrimonious political divide in our country is obvious to everyone. People are increasingly concerned about the battle of right vs. left and talking about the effects the political dysfunction is having on our mental health. Ironically, healing our country is relatively simple, but are people willing to try?
